Win a large, one-topping #newpizza

Green Graffiti

The game might be over, but the chance for you to win a one-topping large pizza isn’t.

To greet the lucky fans that got to go to Miami, Domino’s has prepared a special welcome. 60 Domino’s Pizza logos have been strategically “blasted” onto sidewalks in and around Miami with the help of a high-pressure water sprayer. Until February 24, the first 250 people who submit a photo of themselves with a GreenGraffiti sidewalk Domino’s logo, similar to the photo above, to Domino’s Twitter account @dominos could win a large, one-topping pizza. Be sure to tag your submission with #pizzapic to be entered.

OFFICIAL RULES
Individuals with qualifying photos of Domino’s Green Graffiti placements in and around Miami can submit entries to @dominos on Twitter OR to pr@dominos.com via email for a chance to win. Photos submitted over Twitter must be done using photo sharing services such as Twitpic.com, yfrog.com, etc. and MUST be tagged with #pizzapic and addressed to @dominos to be eligible. Sample Twitter entry:

Hey @dominos, I found one of the logos. http://twitpic.com/xp978 #pizzapic

Prize is one (1) large one (1) topping pizza. Prize must be redeemed by April 3, 2010. No purchase required to enter or win. Submitting a photo to pr@dominos.com or @dominos on Twitter gives Domino’s the rights and permission to use photos for internal/external purposes. Contest is open to legal U.S. residents age 13 or older. Void where prohibited. The contest begins on February 5, 2010 at 7:00 a.m. Eastern Time and will end on February 24, 2010 OR the time when 250 winners are confirmed, whichever comes first. After prize verification, winners will receive prize via Twitter or email. Email submissions must include mailing address for prize verification.

        Why Idiots Use the Internet;
As a way to prove, even further, that our education system is failing

The problem is that the morons are incessantly vocal with their idiocy while the smart people generally know better and only pipe up when what they have to say is actually worthwhile.

    • Linda B | on March 8, 2010

I liked the old pizza but really enjoy the changes Domino’s has made to their product. The crust tastes better and the sauce is very flavorful. If you don’t like this pizza, you need to have your taste buds checked by a doctor.

  2. Lee | on February 6, 2010

I ordered the 2 for 5.9 each & thought dominoes new crust is GREAT!! I didnt throw the crust away like i used 2. I actually ate it all! Don’t know what u guys did 2 improve it but i will say this…DOMINOS aren’t falling here anymore & they’re NOT 2 be knocked down!!!!!

  3. Kathy | on February 6, 2010

The new pizza is just as bad as the old, maybe worse. Quality frozen pizza beats it at a lot less cost. Maybe regions of the country that don’t know what a good pizza is will like it but it was the worst pizza I ever ate.

  4. lenny | on February 6, 2010

The new sauce is too spicy, It gave me heartburn for 2 days. Bring back the old SAUCE.!!!!!! I will never eat the new Dominos again.

    • Joe | on March 21, 2010

This is not even scientificly possible. Food doesn’t stay in your stomach that long. You have other issues. I’m sure thats the only thing you ate for 2 days too……moron.

  5. Robert Pratt | on February 6, 2010

I tried again after vowing I would not spend my money on Dominos several years ago. I preferred cheap frozen store brand pizza to Dominos for quality and flavor at the time. I tried the NEW(?) Dominos Pizza the other night. Here is my experience. The dough is still chewy and flavorless. The toppings lack fresh flavor and probably where years past the shelf life. The sauce was robust and flavorful but, not enough was used. Both pizzas were burnt and had spots of carbon all over them. The cheese was flavorless and a dry coating on the crust. I prefer gooey stringy cheese that taste like cheese and not dried flour. Overall each mouthful was gritty and tasted like dirt. I’m going to the grocery and buying a good cheap frozen pizza next time. Bye bye Dominos (again)!

  6. Wade | on February 6, 2010

I just tried the new Domino’s pizza and I am (mildly) impressed. Overall the flavor is better but they’ve added too much garlic! Still, I prefer Papa John’s or even DiGiorno to Domino’s. But Domino’s still beats Pizza Hut (which tastes like the box it’s delivered in). At least they sent me a CUTE delivery driver!

  7. warren | on February 6, 2010

sauce was good crust was ok but the cheese still needs works

  8. | on February 7, 2010

I hated it!! Why mess with a 25 year good thing! Bring back the old pizza!

  9. giovanni | on February 7, 2010

You pored me in with your new ad campaign… I gave it a try…. NOT HAPPY with it at all… I feel like getting my money back but won’t even waste my time

    • Joe | on March 21, 2010

Now this I feel is an honest reveiew, he didn’t try to just get a free pizza.

  10. Will | on February 7, 2010

I tried to verify the “money back deal” and was told by a Dominos employee that you can only get your money back if the pizzas are brought back uneaten. How will I know if I like the pizzas? This is a crock and proof that Dominos hasn’t changed. They continue to disappoint.
    -Norman, OK

    • Phil | on February 11, 2010

Will, Phil from Domino’s social media, I can tell you for sure that is not true. The guarantee is based on how it tastes. The employee was incorrect.

    • Dawn | on October 4, 2010

The employee was very incorrect, Domino’s stands behind their promise and if they are not honoring that promise then that employee was either not trained very well or just not doing their job in taking care of their customers. Read the box carefully 100% satisfaction guarantee with your pizza experience or we will make it right or refund your money.

  11. LINDA ABBOTT | on February 7, 2010

We just tried the NEW pizza. Wow, what a disappointment!!! I ordered extra sauce but didn’t get it. I definitely did NOT like the garlic crust. A total waste of money. We should have gone to Pizza Hut. The last one I got there was DELICIOUS. BRING BACK THE OLD DOMINOS PIZZA

    • Joe | on March 21, 2010

Ok so your complaint is that it tasted bad or are you just mad because you didn’t get “extra sauce” god you people are petty and probably fat.

  12. robin | on February 7, 2010

the new pizza is so much better than the old one, we are actually ordering from dominos much more now

  13. dawn | on February 8, 2010

i have always loved domino’s the new crust is great the sauce lovely, but lack of cheese and i mean lack of. i ordered the 2 special 2 topping to take to the super bowl party it was the consensous of everyone where’s the chez. if i were on a diet i would have taken salad.lol

  14. DL222 | on February 8, 2010

I think it’s not so much the pizza they need to work on but their staffing and management. Can’t have good pizza, if the guys at the local Domino can care less about what they’re making…or rather, what we’re eating.

  15. Freyar | on February 10, 2010

I don’t know why people are freaking out so much against the new design. My father and I have been bouncing between Papa John’s, Pizza Hut, and a local chain (Five Buck Pizza). We noticed instantly when the crust was changed, and frankly, the change in the crust provides for a nice “flavoring” component to the pizza. It’s a good “taste” rather than dominating the entire pizza with the garlic flavor.

The toppings don’t seem to be too different, but I didn’t have a problem with them before, nor did I have a problem with the sauce. While Dominos seems a bit expensive, the taste is still great. Once in awhile there is a sub-par pizza involved, but a good 80% of the time, they turn out great.

I can’t believe the statement that the crust still tastes like “cardboard”, and that the toppings are “bland”. It just isn’t true when it comes to my local branch. DL222 is probably more on track than the rest of these comments, perhaps it’s a management issue with other stores, because mine is great.

    • Jeff | on February 19, 2010

Freyar, you and DL222 are spot on. It’s all about the employees that are making the food! Sad to say, these jobs don’t pay much and it’s mostly college kids in these stores. Some of which could care less about how they’re portraying the company they work for. If these folks that are getting bad pies or crappy service are not doing anything about it, it will take that much longer to weed these bad apples out… Order from a Five Star store and I’ll bet the quality Pizza that you should be getting tastes a heck of a lot better.

  16. Christa Smith | on February 14, 2010

tonight I ordered the Philly Cheese steak pizza with added Bacon. All I can say that I will throw most of it away, it was awful. I guess you don’t make it often, the ingredients were old , barely any onions, , I didn’t find any steak on the 2 pieces I tried, and cheese was not apparent at all, I guees your pizza maker thought the white sauce was the cheese.. I had hoped with all your Hype about your new recipes it would be tasty, what a disappointment!!! I guess it’s back to Pizza Hut for better Pizza

  17. Lorri | on February 16, 2010

I would love to love this pizza. My kids do….so I guess that’s good enough for me.

I live in dallas tx., yesterday mon. 3-22-10 i visited your location at denton cut off and i ordered a pasta bread bowl. I asked the guy at the counter what size it was, he told me 5.99. I said how big and then he pointed to an aluminum bowl and said “like this” and will take 15-20 minutes. i took it home and when i opened it inside was pasta w/cheese and a very little portion, where is the bread? i call back the store and threy agreed to change it. When i picked the second one, i opened it right there and surprise, there it was, a flat greasy pizza bread with a few pieces of pasta . I asked the lady why it did not look like a bowl and she told me ” i am not responsible if the flour does not rise. I asked if i could speak to her supervisor and she only gave me a local #

I hear a lot of praise, and a lot of disappointment here. Dominoes, like any resturaunt chain, or chain of ANY type business for that matter, is subject to inconsistancies, largely due to its employees. You get a bunch of high school drop-out meth heads working in one, and its all to schitte. Not much can be done about that, UNLESS if you have a bad experience, let Corporate know about it. You should tell the store mgr as well, but definately tell Corp (the Mgr might be a meth-head as well). And speaking of pizza, what ever happened to Godfather’s? Did the entire chain go under, or have they just dried up in my area? God, that was a great pizza!
